Student entrepreneurship: Congratulations to Zimmer Digital with STUD-ENT funding!

Zimmer Digital is a VR simulation programme with the aim of reducing the gap between the classroom and the treatment room for medical students. Now the project in the Growth House portfolio has been granted STUD-ENT funding from Innovation Norway.

Note that we have changed our name to UiO Growth House. Articles written before 2023 use the old name Life Science Growth House.

Zimmer Digital was the first project that received support from the Life Science Growth House fall 2021 through seed funding, counselling from our innovation advisers and mentoring from an external business executive.

Now the team of students from UiO and NTNU, led by newly graduated medical student at UiO Mari Zimmermann, has been granted NOK 1 million as well as a NOK 30 000 mentoring package from the Innovation Norway student entrepreneurship programme STUD-ENT.

Both the Growth House and the student organisation Insj UiO have assisted the team in the application process.
