This is a homework exam. The text is available as a pdf file on the course page from Friday 13. Written/printed solutions should be returned within the deadline Friday 20.
Return of solutions is compulsory to be allowed for the final exam. It counts in the grading of the course with a weight of 1/3.

There will be no lectures the following days, Thursday Oct. 12, Tuesday Oct. 17 and Thursday Oct. 19.
FINAL EXAM
The dates for the final exam will be Monday December 11, and Tuesday December 12. Note that this is an oral exam.
The lectures will be given in English this semester.
As textbook we use the lecture notes (LectureNotes2004.pdf) that can be downloaded from the course page.
A supplementary text that covers parts of the course (and additional subjects) is J.J. Sakurai: Modern Quantum Mechanics (Addison Wesley).
In addition, for specially interested students, the following book can be recommended, Asher Peres: Quantum theory: Concepts and Methods (Kluwer Academic Press).
