The file ExSolutions.pdf has been extended with solutions for the years 2008 and 2013
The problem set will be available in both English and Norwegian

Note: Chapter 5 of the lecture notes, "Quantum mechanics and geometry", has not been lectured and is not included in the curriculum of the course.

Discussion of Problem Set 8 is postponed to next week
The Problem Set will be available on the corse page from Monday October 13 in the morning. Written/printed solutions should be returned to Ekspedisjonskontoret, before the 10 o'clock lecture on Monday October 20.
There will be no teaching during the week of the home exam.
Wednesday Oct.8, exercises instead of lectures
Thursday Oct. 9, lectures instead of exercises
A condition for the commutator between B and its derivative is added.
By request from the students the lectures on Thursday will by swithched with the exercises on Wednesday from the coming week.
The Tuesday Lecture has been shifted to Thursday, starting from next week.
The schedule is then the following
Monday 10.15-12.00 Lectures
Wednesday 14.15-16 Exercises
Thursday 14.15-16.00 Lecture
Due to collision with another course the lecture time on tuesdays will be moved.
The first week there will not be lectures on Tuesday (Aug. 19), but rather on Wednesday 14.15-16.00.
We will on Wednesday try to find a (permanent) new time for the Tuesday lectures. In the meantime please to check what are possible alternatives.
The lectures will take place in Auditorium ?467 in the Physics building.
There will be lectures on Monday and Tuesday, but no teaching on Wednesday. The first set of weekly exercises will be available on Wednesday and solutions to the problems will be discussed at the Exercise class the following week.
The lecture notes for the course will be available at the beginning of the first week.
