The solution paper of Exam 2016 has been uploaded in the previous exams under the resources tab.

Exams of year 2015 and 2016 has been uploaded. Read and try to solve the exams. Solution will be available later but in order to score good grades in exam first try to solve the exams.
The last two lectures are also uploaded.
Oblig-2 has been extended uptil 7th of May and oblig-2 part 2 has been excluded from the assignment.
Oblig-3 deadline date is 22nd of May. Devilry is also updated.
For the oblig 2, do your assignment until Group part of oblig2-1 and we will do WebRatio Web App with oblig 3 later. Meanwhile, also start working on oblig-3 individual part.
The submission deadline will also be move further and you will be informed about it.
I will also upload oblig-2 again and oblig-3 today.

On this Monday, Anton shared his modeling experience of about more than 50 years that he served in Sintef Digital.
I heard that students are not seeing the new pdf file. All the students need to sign-in using their uio email. I have already mentioned before all the material uploaded in the webratio student kit needs to login in order to access.
In the webratio student kit folder there is a new pdf file of webratio guide for adding values to database including images.
I have uploaded the lecture 6 which is in two parts.
Note: In the webratio intstallation folder there is a new pdf file which gives the complete understanding of how to create, edit etc with databasea and how the search works. You have to login in order to access the pdf file.
Microsoft has resolved the issue of wrong javascript error. All students can easily add vdmbee as chrome extension and start making lean startup canvas.
The students who are getting the error that it is a virus they can do one of the two things mention below :-
1. Install it directly from vdmbee.com it seems that the link in the assignment is faulty.
2. Vdmbee.com community says that windows defender wrongly detects javascript as an error. So, We just need to click the trojan error and then click Allow.
Oblig-1 has been uploaded under the resources tab in the assignments folder.
Get started.
It seems the app bundle provided by WebRatio is faulty. A work around is to open the executable directly:
- Locate WebRatio.app (the file you usually double click to start the application)
- Secondary click and choose “Show Package Contents”
- Open Contents -> MacOS
- Secondary click on WebRatio, choose “Open”
That should start the application.
Let me know if you still experience trouble with opening WebRatio.
If you run WebRatio and you got the message saying that the Java version used is not suitable, you need to configure another JDK.
Just follow these steps:
1. Check the current installed Java version. Open the command prompt from the start menu and execute the command
Java -version
You get something like
java version "1.8.0_45"
Java(TM) SE Runtime Environment (build 1.8.0_45-b15)
Java HotSpot(TM) 64-Bit Server VM (build 25.45-b02, mixed mode)
2. Download from the Oracle website the JDK 1.5, 1.6 or 1.7 for your operating system and architecture.

You need to login in order to download the java version 7 in Oracle.
