The problem session is canceled. The answers to the exercises will be published as usual. If you have any questions please send an email to aslak.bergersen@gmail.com.

The lecture on May 15 is cancelled. The last lecture will be held on May 22.

For the problem sessions on Tuesday May 13 and May 20 we will study problems given for old exams, given in the courses Inf-Mat 3360 and Ma-In 226. You can find relevant exams, and some other, on http://folk.uio.no/kent-and/infmat3360/

In the week May 5 to May 9 we will change the date of the problem  session and the lecture. So the lecture will be given on Tuesday 6 in Aud. 2 while the problem session will be on Thursday 8 in Aud. 4.

The lecture on April 24 is moved to seminarroom B71 at the seventh floor of Niels Henrik Abel.

You should hand in the second mandatory exercise at the box in the seventh floor of the Niels Henrik Abel building.

The deadline is March 31.

The lecture on March 13 will be moved to Auditorium 3 in the Chemistry building.

Your answers to the mandatory exercises, with comments by Aslak,  can now be picked up from the 7. floor of NHA.

We extend the deadline by one day such that you can hand in Problem 1 at the exercise session on Tuesday February 25. Alternatively, if you have your answers electronically you can send them to Aslak Beregersen by email.

If you have trouble reaching Aslak you can go to Ragnar Winther's office at the 10 floor of Abel, and give your answers to him. This should be done before noon on February 25. As a final option, if everything else fails, put your answers in Ragnar Winther's mailbox on the 7 floor of Abel.

In Project 2.1e in the formulas for alpha and beta the fraction h/2 should be h/4. In addition there is an extra ( in the formula for beta which should be removed.

Problem 2: Project 3.1 and Exercise 4.16, due by March 31
