Therefore, you are not expected to have detailed knowledge of these sections.
I have updated solutions to the exercises with last week' s exercises. I have also added a solution to this week's exercise from chapter 14, so that the solution manual now is complete with all chapters. I urge everyone to try to solve last year's exam, and use this week's exercise session to ask me questions. This friday is the last exercise session in the course. ?yvind

Mike Floater will lecture Wednesday 18.11. He will lecture from Chap. 13, "The numerical eigenvalue problem." The following Wednesday 25.11 we will complete Chapter 12 on the conjugate gradient method.
