The last lecture of the course will be tomorrow, Friday, and I will go through the exams from 2021 and 2020. I will need between two and three hours, so I believer we will finish before 1500. I have placed some preliminary notes for this lecture in the schedule of the course, which I will expand on in the lecture.

In the first hour on Friday I will go through some game theory which is related to chap. 11 in the book, but is not included directly there. After easter I will supply with an exam question in the weekly exercises on this game theory as well. I have put out notes in the schedule of the course for this lecture so that you can prepare (as the material is not in the book).

I have now corrected all oblig 1 deliveries. Many of you should consult the solutions for this that I just posted on the course webpage, in particular if you have concrete comments from me.

Oblig 1 can now be found on the course web page. I have also published a tex version, which you can use as a guide if you would like to prepare your delivery using tex. The last part of the theory that you need for oblig 1 is "complementary slack". This will be gone through in the start of the lecture tomorrow.

In the schedule, under the lecture from last Friday 1415-1600, you can find a link to my answers to additional questions from some of the students last week. Also, I have already placed some notes for this Friday's lectures and exercise session, which I will fill out more in detail on friday. On friday I will start with the theory since I didn't completely finish chap.3 last week, and I use the last two hours on exercises.

Today I will only go through exercises, as listed in the schedule. Try to do them on beforehand, and you will get more out of what I do. I will probably only need about three hours today.

The first lecture of the course will be on Friday this week. As you see from the schedule of the course, we have 4 hours continuously every Friday (from 1215-1600). On this first Friday I will use all 4 hours to go through chapter 1 and 2 of Vanderbei's book. From next week I will use the first two hours for exercises, the last two for going through the next chapter in the book. Some weeks I may only need one hour for the exercises, resulting in only three hours continuously, which I believe is to prefer for many of you.

Welcome to MAT3100! The first lecture will be on 27th of January, and we will be in aud. 2 VB (see the calendar). The lectures (four hours per week) will be used for both exercises and going through the syllabus.

The syllabus has been updated (we use leganto). In addition, the lecture notes are also part of the syllabus, and will be made available continuously.

We will use the fifth edition of Vanderbei's book. I believe it will cause no problem if you already have the fourth edition.
