Practical information

The exam for STK4060 is basically a home exam, supported by a brief oral examination.

Written exam:

The exam text and supporting material will be published on this web site on Friday 26/5 at 0800.

You are supposed to work individually on the problems, but discussions are of course permitted.

The deadline is Monday 29. May at 1700. Your answer should preferably be sent as an attachment (in .pdf format) to an email to eivind.damsleth@hydro.com. Alternatively you can put it in my mailbox on the left hand side in the room next to the Expedition at the 7. floor in N.H.Abel¡¯s building. Handwritten answers are OK, as long as they can be easily read. Attach only those parts of your computer print-outs that are needed to support your answers, and make sure that it¡¯s clear what part of the print-outs you refer to.

Note: Answers that are received after the deadline will be considered as not delivered!

Oral exam:

The individual oral examination will take place in room B81 in the?NHA building on Wednesday 21/6. The objective is (ii) to clarify any unclear points in your written answers, and (ii) to ask a few control questions to ensure that the written answer was not created by copy and paste. The questions/discussion will focus on your written text, time will not permit a more in depth examination from other parts of the curriculum (pensum). Only 10-20 minutes per person are scheduled.

An agenda for 21/6, with scheduled times for each candidate, will be put on this site some days prior to the examination.
