The board for the Masters program suggests two different models for writing the thesis project:
1. As an extended scientific article. The introduction, methods and discussion sections are for this purpose extended in comparison to an article in a scientific journal.
2. As a scientific journal article. In this case, it is in necessary to have a comprehensive introduction and discussion sections.
In both models, the choice of language is voluntary.

It is the advisor’s responsibility to ensure the student learns how to write the thesis. For external students, this task will be a joined responsibility between the external and internal advisors.
