On October 19, the dScience center would like to welcome the data science community to an evening of socialization, learning and entertainment.

We will start the event with a short session of mingling and food. We will then hear three exciting talks from our invited speakers. The theme for this year’s event is Data Science for Good, and we will hear talks from Analyse & Tall, Spoor and the University of Oslo. After the talks, we regather in the Science Library foyer for mingling and refreshments.

Continuing the success from previous years, we have invited a wide range of relevant companies to set up stands where they can present themselves to our guests. The companies this year are ABB, Arundo Analytics, Bane NOR, Chronos, Computas, DNB, DNV, Eika Forsikring, Equinor, Gjensidige, IndyKite, Kartverket, Kongsberg Digital, Norsk Regnesentral, PGS, Politiets IT-enhet, Schibsted, SINTEF Digital, SLB, Statistisk sentralbyr? and Wilhelmsen. Our goal is to bring all parts of the data science community together for unique networking opportunities.

The event is free and open for all audiences, whether you are familiar with data science practices, or you are curious about data science. Food, snacks and soft drinks will be served.

To ensure that we have enough food, we kindly ask all participants to register your attendance here:
