Requirements for studying online
These are the minimum requirements for your computer and internet connection in order to follow online teaching at UiO. Please note that additional requirements might apply to your programme.
Computer requirements
- Operating system PC: Windows 10
- Operating system Mac: Minimum support for Mojave (10.14)
- Recommended browser: Chrome
- Minimum i3 2GHz processor
- Minimum 4GB RAM
- 10GB available disk space
Internet connection requirements
- Minimum 2 Mbit/s for all UiO IT services
- 6 Mbit/s for Zoom with video
- 2 Mbit/s for sound only in Zoom
