Together with University of Oslo Library and the IT, Study and Communication and Society departments, LINK has developed a website that will provide information on the use of AI in the context of higher education. Work on the website is organised into phases and more content is under development.
The website currently provides direct access to UiO-approved AI tools and presents legal guidelines, ethics and social responsibility considerations, and principles for the use of AI in education at UiO.
In the next phase, we will focus on how GPT UiO can be used by students and educators to support teaching and learning. The use of AI tools in research and administrative work is planned to be developed in December.
In order to provide employees and students with a good overview and updated information at all times, we aim to gather information about the use of AI in education at UiO on this website. Onwards, we aim to ensure feeding to locally developed and subject-specific AI resources, thus please remember to reach out to us via nettskjema, if you are working on any AI resources at your faculty.
