Clock Synchronization for Multiple Systems: MoCap - Audio

For a having a synchronized interconnected system, a ROSENDAHL sync engine is used for audio and video. Mostly for experiments that requires timestamps from QTM.

The image above shows the configuration for the sync engine that allows to work for the audio system and the MoCap system through QTM. The lights on each section in the image are where they should be to have SMPTE time format. A known issue now is the USB section (the one on the left of the 3 buttons) in which every time the device is turn off, the 'MMC/MTC TO LTC' is off, and it must be on in order to work on QTM, so turn this on if required.

The configuration in QTM should be linked with the sync engine as external device like is shown in the image below. Ensure that the checkbox 'Use timestamp' is on, 'Timestamp type' is SMPTE and 'Timestamp frequency' is 25Hz (or the one that matches the sync engine, if this is different).
