The deadline for handing in the report on Rutten's SSA exercise has been postponed to 22 November. The reports on part 2 and 3 of this exercise will be the compulsory part of this course.

The lectures on Thursday 4 and Monday 8 November can be used to work on the numerical exercise.

Compulsory exercise 1: Rob Rutten's Stellar Spectra: A. Basic Line Formation , 2 and 3 (not 1). Deadline report: 8 November. The report may be handed in in paper form or electronically. Use of Latex is optional.
