Getting to the Historical Museum

Accessibility
- In general: The building has four floors and a basement. The southern wing on the 3rd floor is not wheelchair accessible. There is no lift between the 3rd and the 4th floor.
- Parking: Information about HC parking at UiO.
- Entrance: The main entrance is not wheelchair accessible. An entrance with a lift is located at the back of the museum. Please contact a security guard or call the Museum om +47 22 85 99 13 for access.
- Lift: The museum has a cargo lift (295cm x 205cm) at the back of the museum. To use the lift, visitors can contact the staff or call the Museum on +47 22 85 99 13.
- Toilets: Accessible toilets on the 1st, 2nd and 3rd floors.
- Accessibility: Some interior doorways have high thresholds, non-standard widths and heavy doors.
- The building is not equipped with an induction loop.
