Blindern
UiO encourages its students, employees and visitors to walk, bike or use public transportation when visiting our campuses.
You can find the closest parking area in the interactive map above. As a visitor, you may park where there is a parking meter. The large parking lot behind Frederikke is the only student parking area.
Remember to follow the signs on site. Everyone who parks at UiO must register with Apcoa Flow or use the parking meter.
Parking in other places at UiO
Campus Downtown
In the city centre, at Campus Downtown, there are only parking spaces for employees:
- A few parking spaces in the backyard of Frederiks gate 3
- A few spaces in the backyard of St. Olavs gate 29
- The parking lot behind The Historical Museum
Natural History Museum (Botanical Garden)
All driving and parking in the Botanical Garden is prohibited. The Natural History Museum does not have visitor parking spaces.
- Staff, students, guests, contractors, service companies etc. with a valid parking permit may use UiO parking spaces in Monrads gate.
Gaustad
The Science Park
All the visitor parking spaces by Kristen Nygaards hus are reserved for the Norwegian Computing Center.
Parking with a UiO permit
- on the parking lot behind Gaustadalléen 30
- in the indoor car park in Ole-Johan Dahls hus
Parking without a UiO permit
- Short term parking by Kristen Nygaards hus might be available in case of deliveries or heavy equipment transport – please contact the IT Department, who may be of assistance.
- Metered parking in the indoor car park in 欧洲杯在线买球_欧洲杯投注网站推荐@sparken/Oslo Science Park or Rikshospitalet.

Parking for electric cars
There are charging points for electric cars in the indoor car park in Domus Medica tilbygg, the indoor car park at Ole-Johan Dahls hus and the parking lot behind Gaustadalleen 30.
The spots can only be used while charging electric cars, and are not reserved for electric cars in general. The charging points are not compatible with hybrid cars.
Illegal parking
Illegally parked cars and cars with no permit can be fined. The fine will be issued by Apcoa A/S (apcoasupport.no).
Harald Schjelderups hus
- Employees: Parking by the end of 欧洲杯在线买球_欧洲杯投注网站推荐@sveien 3a.
- Visitors: Metered parking in 欧洲杯在线买球_欧洲杯投注网站推荐@sveien. Alternatively contact the department for guest parking permits for the spaces marked A.
- Students: No reserved parking spaces for students in 欧洲杯在线买球_欧洲杯投注网站推荐@sveien.
Rikshospitalet
University employees can email Oslo University Hospital (OUS) at oss@ous-hf.no or parkering@ous-hf.no and request a link to the parking system.

Frederik Holsts hus og Stjerneblokka, Lille Ullev?l (Institutt for helse og samfunn)
- Employees: Along the fence by Frederik Holsts hus.
- Visitors: The fourth parking space, closest to the storehouse on pillars, is reserved for visitors. Employees can reserve a parking space for their guest at the Frederik Holsts hus’ reception desk.
- Metered parking: On the upper side of Nedre Ullev?ls vei, including the area in front of Nedre Ullev?l 11. Use the parking app. A few metered parking spaces in front of the main entrance of Frederik Holsts hus.
Silurveien
- Indoor metered parking. SeeSilurveien parkeringshus (aimopark.no) (in Norwegain) for prices, number of spaces and other relevant information.
- 12 spaces have electric car charging: 6 spaces on the lower level at entrance A and 6 spaces on the upper level at entrance B. Charging instructions can be found at each charging station.
- UiO has one HC parking spot in Silurveien.
- Bicycles can be parked in the bike racks at the back of the building.
