No easing of restrictions for UiO

Strict corona measures will remain in place in Oslo Municipality, even though the government is easing the national measures. Governing Mayor Raymond Johansen made that clear 14th of April 2021.

The continuation of measures initially lasts until April 29. This means that there will be no easing of measures at the University of Oslo. The reading rooms are still open with a social distancing of two metres, while teaching will take place digitally. Home office is still the main rule for employees. Covid-109 rapid testing

In collaboration, SiO Health and UiO have offered rapid Covid-19 testing as a means of keeping the campus as open as possible. We are now preparing for the transition to a system of self-testing. More information about it will be provided later on.
