On Tuesday, the University Board decided to offer Johannes Falk Paulsen (57) the position of Deputy University Director at the University of Oslo.

Falk Paulsen has a long-standing career at the University of Oslo. He has been Office Manager at several institutes, Deputy Faculty Director at the Faculty of Social Sciences, Personnel Manager at UiO, Deputy HR Director, Acting Director at the Department of Finance and Business Management, and Project Director and Acting Faculty Director at the Faculty of Dentistry. Among others things, he has also been Program Manager for the Program for Administrative Improvement and Digitization and Digital Learning Environment at UiO, and has held important positions in the digitization area within the university sector.

– Falk Paulsen knows the university well. He has extensive experience from the entire organisation and key areas such as finance, business management, real estate, personnel and digitization. He has strong management experience and has shown, through various roles, that he contributes to developing an efficient administration that supports the core activities of research, education and dissemination. He is very good at collaborating on various development processes, and I am confident that he will interact well with both the University Management, the rest of UiO and with external parties, says University Director Arne Benjaminsen.

Falk Paulsen is currently Project Director at the University Director's staff and will take up his new position by further agreement.
