18 Marie Curie projects to UiO

UiO has received a total of 18 Marie Sk?odowska-Curie Actions Postdoctoral Fellowship projects. It gives researchers the opportunity to work on projects in another country, and at the same time UiO can bring talented researchers to Norway.

UiO has received a total of 18 Marie Sk?odowska-Curie Actions Postdoctoral Fellowship projects. It gives researchers the opportunity to work on projects in another country, and at the same time UiO can bring talented researchers to Norway.

- Congratulations and many thanks to everyone who applied for and was granted projects. I would also like to congratulate all the 43 applicants from Norwegian institutions, and to the 16 projects at UiO that are on the reserve list, says Svein St?len.

The Marie Sk?odowska-Curie Actions (MSCA) Postdoctoral Fellowship provides grants of up to two years to promote mobility and career development for researchers who wish to work on curiosity-driven, independent research projects in another country. It is also an excellent opportunity for UiO to bring talented researchers to Oslo to work on a joint project.

  • Faculty of Humanities: 9 granted
  • Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences: 3 granted
  • Faculty of Social Sciences: 2 granted
  • Natural history museum: 2 granted
  • Faculty of Medicine: 1 granted
  • Faculty of Dentistry: 1 granted

Worldwide, 1,093 researchers have received a European Postdoctoral Fellowship, while 142 researchers have received a Global Fellowship. A total of 275 million euros will be awarded this year.
