Centres for Excellence in Education (SFU)

The Centres for Excellence in Education Initiative (SFU) is a prestigious national initiative for higher education.

Disseminating results and knowledge is a crucial requirement for SFU centres. UiO owns three SFUs and is a research partner in one. 

INTED

Centre for Interdisciplinary Education (INT-ED) has a goal of including the students in the development of new interdisciplinary processes. This competence is important to solve future challenges that will demand cooperation and critical thinking across disciplines.

CELL

Centre on Experiential Legal Learning (CELL) works on developing new teaching methods within the field of law. The goal is to enhance student learning and better prepare students for the workforce.

Centre for Sustainable Healthcare Education (SHE) aims to develop and implement education and courses that equip students to become globally conscious healthcare professionals.

CCSE

The Center for Computing in Science Education (CCSE) works to make programming and realistic problem-solving an integrated part of higher education and schools and to prepare students for an interdisciplinary workplace.

The Center for Integrated Earth Science Education (iEarth) works to promote a student-focused and innovative learning environment for tomorrow's geoscience students, so as to address complex societal challenges and opportunities.
