The carpool is open to all University employees who hold a valid Norwegian driver's licence and need transport during working hours. The Estate Department is billed for the usage. Private use is also an option, which will be charged to your registered private payment card.
Getting started
- Follow the steps for registration at Bilkollektivet's website (bilkollektivet.no/uio) (Norwegian).
- Norwegian driver's license: Validate your driver's license through BankID under Min profil in the mobile app.
- Foreign driver's license: Contact Bilkollektivet's customer service by phone: +47 86 10 10 or by filling out the contact form (bilkollektivet.no) (Norwegian). Remember to check the box for "Mitt innlegg inneholder privat eller personlig informasjon (sendes via e-post)" to ensure privacy and receive the answer to your email.
General terms
- Every time you book a car, you must specify whether the use is work-related or private.
- The Estate Department is billed for all work-related use (this may be omitted in the long term).
- Your registered private payment card will be charged for private use.
- The use of the car is subject to the general provisions that apply to all users of Bilkollektivet's services (bilkollektivet.no) (Norwegian).
- UiO covers the deductible on insurance matters for work-related use.
- UiO has no financial liability for fines and penalties.
- When you travel privately, the price is the same as for the Private membership (bilkollektivet.no) (Norwegian)

- The cars are parked by Lucy Smiths hus at Blindern.
- Pick up and deliver the car at this spot.
