We want to prepare our academic employees even better to become lecturers at the Faculty of Medicine.

There is currently great variation in different parts of the Faculty, and between different groups of academic staff, in how they are introduced to the role of teacher. Some experience the start as good, while others are unsure and feel left to fend for themselves.

We want to learn from the best teams we have at the Faculty and the University, in order to develop an offering that will benefit even more people. Some current topics we have identified include:

  • Guidance and supervision - good feedback culture
  • Develop a good understanding of roles – professionalism and the doctor's role
  • More systematic assessment of suitability for professional practice
  • Prevention and sustainability as a natural part of various teaching situations
  • Making full use of the students' knowledge of working in teams throughout their studies
  • Good group management, structuring of small groups
  • Adverse incidents in teaching

Invitation to an open input meeting

Sttudents and staff are hereby invited to an open input meeting on 4 May (14:00–16:00) to hear more about needs and current topics. We will also meet committed people who want to be involved in shaping such a programme. We will invite presenters who share their experiences and talk about some of the offers that already exist.

See you there!
