Dear colleagues

This is a busy time for students, teachers, researchers, the administration and the Office of the Dean. We are for example in the middle of a comprehensive review of our PhD programme, we are continuously working to facilitate research applications, we are working to develop our programmes of study, and we are planning the Life Science building and our move into new hospital premises, to mention just a few new developments.

Impressive efforts

In between all this, here in the Office of the Dean, we are regularly visiting the faculty’s many departments and clinics in order to hold dialogue meetings. During our visits, we meet many of you who are involved in teaching, research and administration within our faculty, share information about our ongoing work, and find out the latest news from you. We also get to meet students and staff in many other meeting forums. We are very impressed by the outstanding work, strong commitment and effort being put in.

Valuable dialogue

Our dialogue with you is vital to us in the ongoing development work taking place within the faculty. By the autumn, we expect to have visited most of the units. Please contact us if you would like us to visit you or discuss topical issues. We hope to see you soon. Have a wonderful May!

Kind regards, Hanne
