- Coordination and preparations for activities within research and innovation policy in health.
- Supporting the strategic cooperation with South-Eastern Norway Regional Health Authority and the University Hospitals, as well as The Norwegian Cancer Society and The Norwegian Institute of Public Health.
- Secretarial function for internal and external workings groups within the health area.
- Responsible for establishing and follow up of Quality assurance system for health and medical research at UiO.
- Secretariat for the The Research Ethics Committee at UiO.
