You are cordially welcome to participate in this three-day conference on climate, weather and carbon risk in energy and finance. The conference will gather academics and practitioners, discussing the latest advances on the stochastics of risk measuring, modeling and managing, with a focus on energy systems, markets and finance (ESG).

Key topics involve modelling uncertainty in weather and climate, optimisation problems related to energy systems to control emissions, as well as measuring risk factors related to climate change. 

There will be several invited talks by leading researchers as well as selected contributed talks by participants.

In collaboration with the Academic Writing Centre, UiO:Energy is offering a workshop in scientific writing for PhD students working within the field of sustainable energy and the energy transition.

An evening with short talks from young researchers. Get food and refreshments while you learn more about diverse topics such as car sharing, future solar panels, and sustainable proteins. The event is free and open for all!

Welcome to UiO:Energy Forum! An interdisciplinary conference focusing on the energy transition seen from different perspectives. A wide range of sustainable energy topics will be covered, including renewable energy, CCS, innovation policy and sustainable use of materials. This event is free and open for all!

UiO:Energy is funding the development of Thematic Research Groups aimed at addressing challenges related to the transition towards more sustainable energy systems and societies. We invite all researchers interested to a joint information meeting and matchmaking event.

MoZEES Annual Meeting will take place at Thon Hotel Prinsen in Trondheim on 3-4 November. The open part of the conference on 3 November will include parallel sessions on battery- and hydrogen technologies and systems.  

Because of the coronavirus outbreak, we had to postpone the May 2020 conference celebrating what we have learned from Formation and Competence Building of University Academic Developers project. Instead, we are convening an online conference on 29 April 2021, and we look forward to seeing you on Zoom then.
