File management is simplified using eLabWebEdit by automatically downloading files to your computer and opening them in their associated programs. Once editing is complete, simply save the file, and eLabWebEdit will seamlessly upload it back to the corresponding experiment in the Electronic Laboratory Notebook (ELN). Within eLabJournal, the uploaded file is stored as a new version, ensuring data integrity and compliance with Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) guidelines.
eLabWebEdit can be installed from the Software Center. After installing eLabWebEdit on your computer, it is important to navigate to the "Apps and Connections" section and activate eLabWebEdit by switching it to the "On" position. Please note that the red data should not be uploaded or downloaded using eLabWebEdit.
