- Workspace One (formerly Mobile Workspace) is an administration and security platform for UiO-owned Apple and Android devices.
- Simplifies and streamlines the operation, management and security of phones, tablets and Macs.
- Delivers "out of the box" automated setup and provisioning to the end user, without the need for intervention from IT.
- Provides access to the University's software, resources and systems from mobile, tablet and Mac.
- Connection to Workspace One is mandatory, and automatic for all newer devices.

Mandatory enrollment of Android devices
As of November 2022, all Android devices must be enrolled in Workspace One, also previously bought ones. All UiO-owned phones and tablets not enrolled, must be set up by following these instructions.
