Most of the computers owned by the UiO use Microsoft Windows. The current Windows version at the UiO is Windows 10 64bit.
Students can obtain discounted licenses for Windows from studentlisens.no. Faculty and staff can have Windows installed on their office computers and in some cases also on their home computers.
Getting started
Can be used by students, staff and members of faculty. The UiO does not supply students with Windows licenses, but students can use Windows as their work platform.
