What is Ally?
- A built-in tool that helps teachers improve accessibility in their content using step-by-step guides in Ally.
- Offers students alternative formats to their content in Canvas.
- A very simple tool, but nonetheless rich in functionality.
- Can be used with documents, modules, pages, announcements and discussions in Canvas.

Getting started
Ally is integrated in Canvas rooms:
UiO activated Ally in a few Canvas rooms spring semester 2023 for a pilot period. Ally was activated on June 16, 2023 in active Canvas rooms.
