Digital trial lecture

A digital trial lecture can either be held as a video conference over Zoom, with opponents, the chair of the defence and a technician as part of the conference, or by using Zoom to record the lecture by yourself, and distributing the recording to the opponents for evaluation.

NB! The Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences and the Faculty of Medicine do not allow recording of the trial lecture.

Recording your lecture in Zoom

Read more about conducting your trial lecture as a recording, and the rules that apply to this option. There is no difference between a partially digital or a completely digital defence when you choose this option.

Video conference

With this option there are more notable differences between a completely and a partially digital defence that you should be aware of. Read more here.
