License
NVivo 14 (the newest version) with a new license is now available in Software Center and winprog.uio.no. Files you have worked with and saved in the previous version of NVivo, can be opened in NVivo 14.
If the license key doesn't work, make sure you're opening NVivo 14 and not an older version. Older versions of NVivo are not removed automatically when you install a newer version.
What is NVivo?
- a complex software for qualitative researchers
- can be used for coding text, sound, images and video
- can be a good help through the research process; from the thesis statement, organizing data, coding and working with other researchers, to systematic analysis.
Getting started
Can be used by students, staff and members of faculty at the UiO, as well as external researchers.
You can use NVivo remotely via the UiO Programkiosk
or
install it on your computer. See guides for installing software.
