Information security for system owners

As a system owner you have a responsibility to ensure information security. The IT systems you are responsible for must follow all rules and regulations, either from the Ministry of Education and Research, from the current legislations or from USIT.

Information Security Management System (LSIS)

All system owners must know about LSIS (in Norwegian) and have had familiarized themselves with the contents. You do not need to know all the details of LSIS, but especially chapter 11 is relevant for system owners.

System owners must also know about the ROS analysis (risk and vulnerability analysis) and make sure that the ROS analysis of your system is reviewed and revised every other year.
