Most students will receive a username for the IT services by SMS before the semester starts. When you have received your username, you can set a password for your IT account. Set a password in Password services.
Exchange students will receive an SMS in late May - early June for the autumn semester and in November/December in the spring semester.
Master's degree students will receive an SMS in late July- early August.
You can then log in to Studentweb with your username and password. It is important that you have registered your phone number correctly to be able to receive the username.
Update phone number
If you update your phone number in your online application in S?knadsweb, it will take 7 days before the number is updated within the system. If the SMS is not delivered to you, UiO will try to resend it over a period of 90 days.

You may also contact the information centre at your faculty for assistance for registering for courses within the deadline.
Note that some countries have restrictions for receiving SMS from Norway.
