Ecomorphosis: Poetic Urban Encounters

Ecomorphosis, by Harald W B?e, features poems about urban non-human encounters, based on field notes taken at locations around Oslo. Poetry is used as a research method and to explore what knowledge could be gained through the writing of poetry. The focus of the project is the exploration of cross-species encounters in the urban landscape of Oslo. This is inspired by Martinican philosopher E?douard Glissant¡¯s concept of creolization. The central point of this project has been to explore the interactions between humans and non-humans, actualizing these encounters in an urban landscape as significant and containing the possibility for creolization.
