Abstract
Arctica is a blog that chronicles my relationship with Svalbard's landscape over the six months that I spent there doing fieldwork for my master's thesis. As opposed to the more outward-oriented writing of fieldnotes, the blog allowed me turn inward and interrogate my own process of getting to know and becoming part of a landscape that at first was foreign to me.
