Erasmus+ confirmations

Certificate of arrival / Confirmation of stay are signed by the faculties.

Erasmus+ students must contact their Faculty Information Centre for signatures on the certificate/confirmation of arrival confirmation of stay.

You may use the certificates from your home institution. If your home university has not issued you with a document, you may use the UiO document: Confirmation of Erasmus+ Exchange Period (pdf)

Please note:

  • The start date is defined as: The first day the student needs to be present at the receiving organisation for academic reasons (e.g. first course/first day at work, welcoming event organised by the host institution, language and intercultural training etc…).

  • The end date is defined as: The last day the student needs to be present at the receiving organisation for academic reasons (e.g. end of exam period/course/work/mandatory sitting period...).

  • You are responsible yourself for returning the signed document(s) to your home university by post or by e-mail.

Please also see general website about confirmations from UiO, and the Academic calendar.

  • If you want to send your document by e-mail to your home university you may use one of the scanners available at the University Library or at the some of the faculties.
