Abstract
The talk reports a study on the relationship between hearing (music) and touch (gentle caressing).
It builds upon 4 basic questions:
1) Touch-at-a-distance?
2) We listen with the ears?
3) Skin-deep Pleasures?
4) Personal Rhythms?
All these leading to the main question:
5) Caressed by Music?
Evidence will show that the idea that we are caressed by music goes a bit deeper than just the metaphor.
