PKA345 – Biomedical analysis

Course content

Analysis of drugs in body fluids such as blood, plasma, serium, urine and extracts from tissues. Attention is on HPLC methods and techniques for sample preparation such as liquid-liquid extraction, dialysis, derivatization and postcolumn reaction and fully automated systems for biomedical analysis.

Learning outcome

The aim is to give the students knowledge in developing HPLC methods for biomedical analysis.
