Oral exam assessment guideline

Hi,

Today's "lecture" is the movie Kitchen stories (Bent Hamer, 2003). I could not find a different room, so I'll try to show it in Logo. The light from outside may be a problem though. I have a couple of copies from Tone (dvd), so it may be possible to borrow it too. I'll post some questions on the course pages related to the movie which we can discuss briefly after the film today. Or you can think about them if you prefer to see the film somewhere else.

On Tuesday's lecture we will organize a paper discussion relevant for your exam preparations. We have chosen three papers for you to read and prepare notes for discussion (see below). 

When reading and preparing your notes, reflect on how the authors discuss their methodologies - what is similar and dissimilar, and how they could have chosen different. Consider how the authors gain access to the communities they are researching, and how this affect choice of methodology.
