Welcome to IN5390!

Hello!

We are delighted to welcome you to IN5390, "ICT for Development: Building A Better World?" In this course we will explore the field of Information and Communication Technologies for Development (ICT4D), in a journey guided by the question on what it takes to make a better world with ICTs. In the course we will explore the limits and possibilities of ICTs for development, touching on themes as diverse as digital platforms, global health, data justice and decolonial understandings of ICT4D. 

The course is assessed with a take-home exam to be submitted in December 2023. Essential readings are available in the course schedule, which offers also an overview of the themes of the course.
