Please note that some of the lecture slides (those under password protection) are only available under the Schedule link. Thus, the collection under "Lectures" is not complete.

Further, some online syllabus material has been added during the semester, se 4 and 5 under the Syllabus link.

For those of you who need some help with the exam preparations, the group sessions will be held both Thursday and Monday as normal. We will prepare a walkthrough of last years exam, in addition to answering your questions, of course.

We have put a small list of frequently asked questions on this course page, under Oblig 2. You can also find it here.

Due to dagen@ifi all teaching is canceled this Thursday, including group 2's group session. I've postponed the deadline for the mandatory exercise to Monday 3rd November, so that you all get one more group session you can attend to get some last minute help then.

You can also try to reach your group teacher on email with any questions, of course.

I have now uploaded the second mandatory exercise for the course. You can find it here. As with the first assignment, you will also need a data set, which you can find here. Some Python precode is included with the data files.

The deadline for handing in your report is October 31st.

Although there is a break in the lectures this week, but the group sessions will be held as normal, giving you an opportunity to catch up on the weekly exercises, or get some extra feedback on the first mandatory assignment!

For those of you that need a little help getting started with the assignment, I have added a short Python program (v2.7) that shows how you can read and use the data file in Python. You can find it here.

For those of you who aren't familiar with programming in Python, you can take a look at the lecture slides in the course INF3331, which gives a pretty detailed introduction to the language (the list of slides for last year can be found here). Alternatively, codeacademy has a short intro course here.
