  • The delivery deadline for Mandatory exercise 2 has been postponed until Friday May 7.

  • "Part B" of the exercise, which is about delay-and-sum beamforming in the near-field, was recently released and included in the exercise PDF file.

Exam dates: The dates for the oral exam has now been set: May 27 and May 28.

All students who have delivered the Mandatory exercise 1 should now have received an e-mail with our assessment of their work.

Please write to Peter if you have delivered the exercise, but not yet received a personal e-mail.

  • The initial part of Mandatory exercise #2 is now prepared. It has to be delivered on April 30 at the latest. Follow link from main course page, or download the PDF directly from here
  • Note: an additional part will later be added to the exercise. We're awaiting some acoustical data from a commercial company. The additional part will be published hopefully within a week's time.

  • The lecture plan has now been updated. Note: it now also includes another 5 lectures marked blue in the lecture plan document. They will be held by Roy E Hansen and are part of the INF4480 (Digital Signal Processing II) course. These lectures are not formally compulsory for students at INF5410. However, if you are not already skilled in Stochastic Processes and Estimation Theory, we strongly advise you to follow these lectures in order to be better prepared for digestion of concepts presented within the rest of our INF5410 course.
  • Please remember that you must attend the lecture on Wednesday Jan. 27. Otherwise, you will no longer be registered to the course.
