We are having problems with the HDMI connection, so please bring computers with mini displayport or VGA, or use the IFI-machine (which has IE and firefox installed).
- A couple of groups have made last minute requests to present 7th rather than 6th. If any of the groups scheduled for the 7th are willing to swap and present tomorrow, let me know.
- Remember to make your github repositories public the day before the presentation. Those presenting on the 7th can also make they repositories available today if they prefer.
- All presentations will be in room Postscript. Please wait outside the room until asked to enter.
There have been a few questions on whether any teaching aids/materials can be used during the exam. The answer is no.
You can now find the date and time for the group presentations on the wiki. What room(s) we'll use is not confirmed, but will be added in the next couple of days.
The lab session 16:15-18:00 today is cancelled. Please use Piazza, or visit the group session on Friday.
Group presentations will be held on 6 and 7 december. Please send an email by the end of this week if one of the dates are impossible for your group due to other exams. We will then make a schedule with exact time and place for each group within those two days.
The two lectures on software platforms have been moved one week. The last lecture will be split between platforms/boundary resources and a summary of the course. This means there is no lecture November 8. See schedule.
Going forward, the lab sessions will be "thematic" by group assignment:
- Master facility list - group 1 or 2 (Tuesday and Thursday 16:15-18)
- Sharing editor - group 1 or 2 (Tuesday and Thursday 16:15-18)
- HIV cascade analysis - group 3 (Thursday 12:15-14)
- Subnational analysis - group 3 (Thursday 12:15-14)
- Stock-level analysis - group 4 (Friday 12:15-14)
It is possible to show up to the other groups, but you will get the best guidance if you follow this assignment.
A DHIS2 server has been set up for testing during the project work, with two different databases:
- https://inf5750.dhis2.org/demo
- https://inf5750.dhis2.org/training
You can log in with student / INF5750! in both - these are superuser accounts. The databases will not be reset every night unlike the play.dhis2.org databases, unless someone messes up the content completely and we have to revert to a backup.
The content of the databases are different, and for some tasks you might be able to find better sample data to work with in one of the other.
The exam for 2016 is available here for reference. While we'll change the format a little bit (based on feedback from last year), this should give an idea of what to expect.
All students with approved obligatory assignments should now have a group for the group project. Students who did not sign up with the web form should have received an email where the group members were all included. If you have not signed up OR received an email, please let me know.
Also, there seems to be an issue preventing some of you from editing the Wiki. We are aware and looking into that.

Key changes:
- The final group presentations will be after the exam instead of the week before. The exact dates are to be decided (it will be over several days due to the number of groups).
- Next weeks the lecture will be in Ole-Johan Dahls hus Seminarrom C (3437), which is better suited for a bit of hands-on exercises.
- A lecture has been added on 11.10 to introduce the group projects, where we will cover the logistics and go through the assignments the groups can choose from in some detail.
The group 16-18 today (Thursday 28.09) is cancelled, please go to on of the two other groups this week (Thursday or Friday 12-14).
Group sessions Tuesday this week is cancelled due to illness, and there is a chance that the group session Thursday 16:00 might also be cancelled. Please show up in one of the two other groups if you need help with the assignment.
Please bring a computer to the lecture this and next week if possible, as there might be some practical sessions.
Group 2 lab session is cancelled tomorrow (21. Sep. 16:15–18:00). You are free to join one of the two lab sessions on Friday (12-14 or 14-16 in Fortress).
The lab for group 3 this Thursday 21. Sep 12:15-14:00 has been moved to Friday 14:15-16:00. If you cannot make it at this time, you can go to one of the two other lab session.
Please use "inf5750" as the name for the MongoDB database you use in the assignment. This will facilitate testing of the delivered assignments.

Deadline for assignment 1 has been moved from Sunday to Monday 11 September at 23:59.

There was an error in the examples of the data which should be returned from the API, this has now been corrected.
Because of the problems on the metro this afternoon, the group teacher is delayed to the group session for group 1 today (29 Aug).
Not everyone has been assigned to a group yet. We are aware of this and will be working to make sure everyone is assigned in the coming days.
