INF4360 – Topics in geometric modelling

Course content

Topics such as Bezier curves and surfaces, geometric continuity, curvature, subdivision, curve and surface fitting, barcentric coordinate methods

Learning outcome

The students will get a thorough view on modern techniques in geometric modelling, emphazising practical methods and the mathematical theory.

Admission

Students who are admitted to study programmes at UiO must each semester register which courses and exams they wish to sign up for in Studentweb.

If you are not already enrolled as a student at UiO, please see our information about admission requirements and procedures.

Prerequisites

Recommended previous knowledge

MAT1120 – Linear Algebra

Teaching

2 hours of lectures each week.

Examination

Oral exam. General information about the examination.

Examination support material
