In?case of many students, the final exam may be written.

This course has three mandatory?assignments, which must be approved before you can sit the final exam.

It will also be counted as one of the three attempts to sit the exam for this course, if you sit the exam for one of the following courses: TEK9120 – Modern Service Oriented Architecture (discontinued), UNIK4730 – Service Oriented Architechture Implementation (continued), UNIK9730 – Service Oriented Architechture Implementation (continued)

The exam is, as a rule, given at ITS, Kjeller where you are expected to participate by physically visiting the facilities. However, in special circumstances - needs to be negotiated when the semester starts - we may offer examination via phone/video conference.

Examination support material

No examination support material is allowed.

Language of examination

Subjects taught in English will only offer the exam paper in English. You may write your examination paper in Norwegian, Swedish, Danish or English.

Grading scale

Grades are awarded on a scale from A to F, where A is the best grade and F is a fail. Read more about the grading system.

The weight assigned to a topic is reflected by the time allotted to said topic during lectures (for example, a topic given a double lecture 2x3 hours counts twice as much as a single lecture 3 hours.? Furthering this line of thought, a topic that we spend 1 hour on counts 1/3 of a topic that is covered in a full lecture of 3 hours).

Resit an examination

Students who can document a valid reason for absence from the regular examination are offered a postponed examination at the beginning of the next semester.

Re-scheduled examinations are not offered to students who withdraw during, or did not pass the original examination.
