Ark14 on the web. This is the last Ark!

Even if next friday is the 18. May, there will both lecture and group.

As there is no group on May 17 and as many of you still have problems from earlier Ark to work on on friday, there is no new Ark for next week.

Ark14 - the last one - will be for the the week after; that is for May 24 and 25

On monday I finished section 5.8 and there by we are through the curriculum. I did not do 5.8.2 so that is not part of the curriculum

I have posted a precise description of the curriculum.

We have a lot of time for repetition, so I think it will be wise to use three lectures for repetition and then the rest for doing old exams.

So on friday I will start the repetition from the beginning of the course. That is section 2 Metric Spaces and 3 Spaces of continuous functions.

I flexible about what to do during the repetition, so if you have special wishes, please tell me!

About the mandatory assignment: A factor 2 in the formula in problem 1b has disappeared. Corrected version on the web - take a look at that and get the factor in place.

On Friday finished section 2.3 about the Lebesgue measure. To dau I will do 5.4 about meaaurable functions, and may be start on 5.5. On Friaday ( ie 27 april) I ll do 5.5 and 5.6.

The exam is on June 12, and there will be no lecture on Monday June 11.

The week before, that is on Monday june 4 and Friday june 8, I will not do any new things. Those lectures will be used for repetition.

So the last lecture with new theory will be on Friday june 1.

Fot those of you who are learning TEX we have posted the source code for the solutions of assignment one on the home page. It could be helpful for you to take a look at it.
