Hi,

There are plenty of typos in the book, some innocent some more serious.  Let me know if you find some., Geir E. appreciates it and will correct for the next edition.

Among the serious ones:

 

p 130, last line:   M' and M'' should switch position in the exact sequence (5.13).

The assignment is to present the proof of one or several propositions to the class.  Two students share each assignment.

Together they give the presentation that takes at most 30 minutes.

They choose assignment in the list below.  

Unless stated otherwise, at most one pair of students can choose the same assignment.

Report your choice to me (first come first serve), and we agree on a date for presentation. (Before November 6.)
