The mandatory assignment can be found [here]. By Thursday, April 7, send me your full name, e-mail address and choice of topic. The oral presentation takes place on Friday, April 8, 09:00-12:00, room 1009.

The format of the mandatory assignment will be an oral presentation. On Thursday, March 24, I will post a list of subjects. You then pick one of the subjects and prepare a 20 min presentation (chalk & blackboard). During the presentation, I will ask questions. The presentation takes place on Friday, April 8, 09:00-12:00, room 1009 (my office).

There will be an oral exam. The tentative date of examination is Thursday, June 2.

The student representative is Jonas Fl?de (berntjf[@]math.uio.no). Comments or suggestions regarding the course (e.g., lectures, exercises, book, etc.) can be communicated to him. He will then convey your message to me (or you can talk to me directly).

Welcome to MAT4305 ¡ª Partial Differential Equations and Sobolev Spaces I, Spring 2022. The teaching language is English. The first lecture is on Thursday, Jan 20, 10:15, NHA room 1119.

Some students are interested in forming an informal study group for joint discussions and problem-solving. If you are interested in this, please send me an e-mail indicating your interest? I will then collect the e-mail addresses and ask the relevant students to organise a study group.
