The mandatory assignment will cover the material presented in first half of the course. This corresponds to 7.1–7.9 and 8.1–8.5 in Spaces and 2.1–2.3 in Elementary Linear Analysis.

Some of the problems may require a bit more creativity than what is expected for mandatory assignments (or exams), but the technical difficulties should be more or less normal.
Please let me (Ole) know if there are any issues with the problem set or with Canvas (it should be possible to hand in the assignment presently).
I will convert one of the lecture slots in week 8 or week 9 to an extended (digital) office hour where I will discuss the problems with you individually (and possibly provide a few hints).
