The compulsory assignment is now available on the web-page (under the heading Additional material). The deadline to hand in your solutions (using Canvas) is Wednesday, October 18, within 2.30 pm.
I have edited a bit in the introductory notes and included a section about approximate units. The solution of (most) exercises for this week is also available on the web-page.

The weekly meeting hour will be on Wednesdays at 10.15, as agreed today, but it will take place in room 126, NHA's building (1. floor).

MAT4460 will be organized as a reading course this semester. A first meeting for students interested in taking the course will take place in room 108, NHA's building on Wednesday, August 23 at 10.15. If you are not able to attend this meeting, please send an e-mail to Erik Bedos.
